Brow Services

At Skin Besties, brow services are customized based on your desired outcome — from enhancing your natural brow structure to corrective or restorative procedures.

Options range from subtle refinement with Brow Lamination to longer-lasting pigment procedures such as Shading, as well as advanced Brow Correction and Removal protocols.

Who Is Each Service For?

Brow Lamination

Ideal for those seeking a natural, non-invasive enhancement of their existing brows.

Brow Lamination restructures and sets the natural brow hairs to create fullness, symmetry, and lift without depositing pigment into the skin.

This is best suited for clients who want definition while maintaining a soft, effortless appearance.

Brow Shading (Soft Shading / Powder Effect)

Designed for clients with sparse brows or those tired of filling them in daily.

Shading is a longer-lasting cosmetic tattoo procedure where pigment is deposited into the skin to create a soft powder or filled-in effect. It is minimally invasive but does involve controlled pigment implantation for durable results.

This option provides structure, density, and long-term convenience.

Brow Rescue & Correction

Brow correction is approached differently depending on the concern:

  • Organic Brow Rescue – For clients with thinning brows due to previous procedures or trauma. We use collagen induction techniques to stimulate the area and support healthier regrowth when possible.
  • Color Correction – If previous tattooing or micropigmentation has healed gray, blue, red, or green, we correct the tone without altering the original brow structure.
  • Removal of Previous Work – If you wish to fully remove prior micropigmentation or tattoo work, a structured removal protocol is required.

Each case is evaluated individually to determine the safest and most effective strategy.

FAQs

Quick answers to questions you may have

Who Is This Service For?

This category is designed for anyone experiencing concerns with their brows — whether the goal is to restore natural volume, refresh previous work, correct unwanted pigment tones, or completely remove an old procedure.

A consultation is mandatory for all corrective or pigment-based brow services to assess skin condition, previous work, and candidacy.

How long do results last?
  • Brow Lamination typically lasts 4–6 weeks, depending on the hair growth cycle and aftercare.
  • Brow Shading can last 1–3 years, with color refresh appointments recommended as needed.
  • Correction or removal procedures vary depending on previous work and individual skin response.
  • Organic Brow Rescue supports long-term brow recovery by stimulating healthier growth over time.

Longevity depends on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and adherence to aftercare instructions.

Does Brow Shading hurt?

A topical anesthetic is applied prior to the procedure to minimize discomfort. Pain tolerance varies, but the procedure is generally well tolerated.

How many sessions are required?

• Brow Lamination requires maintenance every 4–6 weeks.

  • Brow Shading typically requires an initial session and one touch-up 6–8 weeks later.
  • Correction or removal procedures may require multiple sessions depending on pigment depth, previous work, and skin history.
  • organic rescue may require multiple sessions.

A consultation determines your individualized treatment plan.

Can I get shading if I have previous brow work?

Not automatically.

Previous tattooing or micropigmentation must be evaluated first. In some cases, color correction or partial removal is required before new pigment can be safely implanted.

Is there downtime?
  • Brow Lamination has minimal to no downtime.
  • Brow Shading may involve mild redness and slight tenderness for 24–72 hours.
  • Correction or removal procedures may require additional healing time depending on the technique used.
  • organic rescue has minimal to no downtime.

Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing and pigment retention.

How much is the investment?

Pricing varies based on the service selected and the condition of your brows.

Investment typically ranges between $100 and $350, depending on the complexity and type of procedure.

Why is a consultation required?

Because no two brows — or previous procedures — are the same.

Skin condition, pigment history, underlying scar tissue, and desired outcome must be assessed before determining the safest and most effective approach.

Corrective brow work requires precision, not assumption.
