The Perfect Derma Peel

At Skin Besties, we approach chemical peels with intention — not intensity. The Perfect Peel is designed to create controlled cellular turnover, accelerating skin correction.

Who Is This Treatment For?

The Perfect Peel is formulated to be safe for most skin types and is especially suitable for melanin-rich skin when performed correctly. It is ideal for those seeking deeper, more accelerated skin renewal — including individuals experiencing hyperpigmentation, fine lines, acne scarring, uneven texture, or those who simply desire a visibly refreshed and revitalized complexion.

However, at Skin Besties, this peel is never performed without proper skin preparation. We do not apply The Perfect Peel during a first visit, nor on clients who have not been seen in the studio within the last five months.

FAQs

Quick answers to questions you may have

How much downtime should I expect?

Peeling typically begins 48–72 hours after application and can last 7–10 days. Visible flaking is expected as part of the renewal process.

You will receive detailed post-care instructions and a guided home-care protocol to protect your results and minimize the risk of complications.

When will I see results?

Many clients notice brighter, smoother skin once peeling has completed. However, true corrective improvement continues as cellular turnover progresses over the following weeks.

For concerns such as hyperpigmentation or acne scarring, a series of treatments may be recommended to achieve meaningful, long-term correction.

Does The Perfect Peel hurt?

A temporary tingling or warming sensation is normal during application. Discomfort is typically brief and manageable.

Can I get this peel if I have melasma?

Melasma requires careful evaluation. At Skin Besties, we typically manage melasma with a different corrective strategy and may recommend Cosmelan as a more appropriate option.

A consultation is mandatory before proceeding.

How much is the investment?

For client convenience, The Perfect Peel is available as a single treatment or as part of a structured corrective series.

Investment typically ranges between $350 and $1,500, depending on whether you proceed with an individual peel or a multi-session corrective plan.

Why can’t I get this peel on my first visit?

For safety and clinical accuracy, no advanced corrective treatment is performed without a prior consultation and comprehensive skin analysis.

Proper preparation reduces risks and significantly improves outcomes.

Can I do this treatment in the summer?

Yes — with proper precautions.

You must feel comfortable with the visible peeling process and commit to strict sun protection and post-care compliance. Seasonal timing is less important than responsible aftercare.

How often can I repeat The Perfect Peel?

Frequency depends on your corrective goals and skin condition.

In many cases, it can be repeated every 4 weeks as part of a structured treatment plan. Your protocol will be determined during consultation.
